Lucas Smith, the fubar forger, is now irrelevant

Just a quick one here - Lucas Smith, aka "Inspector Smith" at YouTube, the guy who tried to sell his flawed forgery of an Obama Kenyan birth certificate for $1,000,000, is officially irrelevant.

Poor Lucas. The guy had zero credibility going in - long police record for crimes including passing checks with a fake name, throwing hot oil at co-workers at McDonalds, stabbing someone in the face...you get the picture. Poor Lucas. Blames everyone and everything, even blames Dr Orly, the nutty dentist, and Jerome Corsi of World Nut Daily, for his problems. It's EBay's fault. It's PayPal's fault. It's all the OBOTs' fault.

Poor Lucas. It's certainly not his fault. He did exactly what the nutcases wanted...created a fake BC so they could pretend Obama was born in Kenya.

Here's the bottom line - Lucas' screwed up. He misspelled, and therefore misstamped, the top of the BC. Lucas stamped "Dr. Helton Maganga." But the doctor's name is "Heltan."

And as for any nutcase who comes along and says something about a story online, with the name spelled "Helton," I've got an email now in my back pocket from the guy who wrote that story, and he acknowledges that he misspelled the doctor's first name.

Doctors named "HELTAN" just don't go around stamping copies of birth certificates "Helton." Poor Lucas. He came so close to that $1,000,000 prize.

Lucas Smith, yet another con artist

I know, I know, I'm supposed to blog about Bunnytoes one of these days. Just haven't gotten to it, plus I've been spending some time researching Lucas Smith, the Ebay rascal who popped in out of nowhere recently with his own version of an Obama Kenyan birth certificate. He's also known as Inspector Smith at YouTube. Once again, special mojo must go to Loren at Barackryphal for his outstanding reporting here and here.

Lucas is a liar. Besides the fact that his fake Obama birth certificate doesn't show the birthdate of Obama's father (because that knowledge is not on the internet), Lucas damns himself with his Google profile:

I quote:

1) "I will be releasing a video in August (yes, 2009) which entails information about the birth place of US President Barack Obama. This video will include footage of US President Barack Obama's Kenyan birth certificate. You'll see the birth certificate close up..."

2) "There is no logical reason for the President not to release his original birth certificate." (in other words, there's no reason why Obama should not release)

Simple logic - if Lucas really, really, really has Obama's birth certificate, why would Lucas make statement #2? If Lucas really, really, really has Obama's birth certificate, and it really, really, really proved Obama was born in Kenya, then wouldn't it be logical that Obama would never, ever, ever want to release his birth certificate?

Putting it another way, if Lucas really, really, really has "Obama's Kenyan birth certificate," wouldn't Lucas say something like "I know why Obama doesn't release his original birth certificate" instead?

Lucas Smith, welcome to the trash dump of historical con artists - Berg, Beckwith, Polarik the fake fake document expert, TexasDarlin, Dr. Orly the nutty dentist, Ed Hale the world famous Bigfoot murderer, yada yada yada, et al. Perhaps you can sell a kidney to one of them!

And it is possible that Bunnytoes is also the notorious drkate, who morphed into DrKate, TexasDarlin's beloved kindred spirit. I had hoped to discover that Bunnytoes was TexasDarlin, and it's still possible I suppose, but one particular discovery points to DrKate instead.

My readers know that I covet the outing of TexasDarlin. She has been a notorious liar ever since she first appeared with that particular name. Someone out there knows who she is. All tips are confidential. More on her soon as well.

Perhaps nothing better illustrates just how phony Polarik (aka Ronald Jay Polland) was, than his own words from 10/26/08 - months after he claimed he was an expert on Obama's COLB...

Of course, Polarik claimed a lot of things that weren't true, as Loren at Barackryphal has documented, so perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise that Polarik was so clueless about document analysis, he was asking an actual expert for help.

A message to Dr. Ron Polarik, PHD (lol)

Hi Ron,

I really need to get to bed here, but thought I'd drop you a line first.

I'm really sorry, but it looks like Loren (Barackryphal) has nailed your ass.

I won't go into all the details at this time, because this is Loren's big moment, and he deserves a lot of good mojo for putting it all together.

Independently, I've found much of what I am sure Loren found, in piecing this all together. What I've found so far convinces me that he is probably right - marriage to a Bulgarian two years ago, that IP from Orlando, lots of anti-Obama stuff under a widely-used nickname before July 2008, and more...and it's pretty convincing.

Perhaps you should come clean. Perhaps you should be honest for a change, and get out in front of what is probably coming your way, before you did a deeper hole for yourself with lies and half-truths.

It's your choice.

Is Polarik, Ronald J Polland?

UPDATE!

Hard to go to bed when you are excited. I have found more smoke to support Loren's conclusion - Ronald Polland's interest in cameras, his lack of real knowledge in spotting digital forgeries, and some other stuff. Hopefully Loren will lay out the case tomorrow with all the details.

Also, Beckwith has suddenly cleansed his TheObamaFile.com site. Odd timing! He can run but he can't hide though ;) END UPDATE


Breaking news today...Loren of Barackryphal has a nice post up, identifying Polarik as Ronald J. Polland.

Now then, I couldn't care less who outs a bad guy, as long as someone does lol.

At first, I was very skeptical, because I could not make the leap from Ronald Polland to Bulgaria...yea, Bulgaria...and also, I couldn't connect Ronald Polland to the Orlando area. Supposedly, Polland is in Jacksonville, while Polarik is in the Orlando area...

See, some of us remember that Polarik's IP last year was 70.119.62.151, which tracks to the Orlando area (around Longwood), too far from Jacksonville, which is where it looked like Ronald Polland was at.

However, I have found the Bulgarian link, and I have found the same Ronald Polland now in the Orlando area. I will not post these links, because this is Loren's work, and he deserves all the mojo in the world if he is right. I'm sure he will post them in his next post.

I'm not yet convinced he is right...but I'm definitely not skeptical like I was earlier today.

I have high hopes!
